Hello and welcome to this weekās newsletter.
Recently I have started reading some books from the author named Jack Pransky. He teaches the 3 principles. It is in harmony with what I teach and feel, I might use different terminology.
This week I want to mention these points in my own words and if you feel inspired to learn more, you can look up Jackās books.
There is a Higher Mind. This Higher Mind is all One Energy. There is no separation. We will never be separate from this Oneness of Energy. This is our Essence or Source. This Higher Mind has different names, we call it God, Source, The Universe, Spirit, etcā¦.no matter what you call, it is the same. It is who we are!
Everyone has the gift of Consciousness. To be able to have experiences, you need to be conscious of what is going on. You can place your consciousness on different āthingsā to have different experiences.
Everyone has the gift of thought. Some thoughts you can control and some you canāt. Some thoughts are in the front of your conscious mind and some thoughts are running at the back of your mind.
Everyone have these 3 points or principles in common.
Your thoughts produces feelings. You donāt have feelings without a thought attached to it.
Thoughts are unstable. They keep changing. Once your perspective on something changes (in other words, your thoughts change) your feelings and experience change with it.
Because of the experiences we have, we develop beliefs or in other words, we see the experiences through a lens.
Let me give an example to make it more clear.
Letās say it is your first day at school and you are super excited. But the kids are mean and they make fun of you for being so excited and having your hand up in class for every question the teacher asks. You donāt like that the kids are laughing and making fun, so you have a thought that it is not safe to be so excited and wanting to take part in the class discussions. This thought gets deep rooted in your mind the more you experience it. So your lens you put on is that you are not safe and should quietly observe and not participate so that you donāt stand out and get picked on.
From this day onward, you experience your reality through that lens.
So something happens in your outer world, you see it through your lens and you have a thought about it. (This thought is influenced by your lens.) Then you have a feeling that effects your behaviour.
Everything you do can be seen through this process. When you detach and observe, you can understand why you do what you do.
There is so much to say about this, but what I want to leave you with is that you canāt rely on your thoughts. They change all the time. Sometimes you get more information and you see the situation with different eyes and that changes your thoughts which then changes your feelings.
Place your Consciousness on the bigger picture. Your thoughts create your reality and you canāt rely on your thoughts. You donāt always have all the facts and only perceive things through your lens.
My favourite saying is, āI donāt know and I donāt care.ā This saying is sooooooo deep. When you can detach from your thoughts, you will become more conscious of the Higher Mind and the Wisdom in all things. This will resolve the lens and therefore you will not take your thoughts so seriously and it will leave you in peace, joy and harmony.
Pay attention where you place your Consciousness. What are you aware of? Because that is your reality. If you put more thought and effort into your outer world, you will feel out of control. But if you let go of the illusions of your thoughts that separates you from your Essence, you will become One with the Higher Mind.
This time of year brings lots of anxiety to many. I am offering hypnotherapy sessions to bring more inner peace. This month of December, these sessions are a low Ā£85. Contact me to set up an appointment.
